Virgil Abloh definitely had talent in all spheres of life. And this concerns architecture and home design too. The late designer who was well-known as Louis Vuitton menswear creator died last month. The artist always said that young architects can change the world around us by not creating buildings. Discover five legendary master's contributions that he applied to architecture.

In 2019, he worked on the design of the installation titled TWENTYTHIRTYFIVE. Created for a furniture brand Vitra, it featured a vision for a home set for 2023.

Abloh took inspiration from two works by Jean Prouvé. The Petite Potence lamp and the Antony chair were reimagined by the designer in a bold orange color. Then, he designed a second iteration back in 2020, made it in blue color. The goal of the collections was to demonstrate how design can speak to new generations.

In 2019 Abloh's own brand launched its debut collection of home items. Titled HOME, the line consisted of classics combined with a twist. The range of ceramics featured cups, plates, and trays decorated with blue sketches.

To design a flagship store for his brand, Abloh partnered with Samir Bantal. As a result, they got Miami Design District that served as a cafe, a space for holding lectures, art shows, and music events.

Creating Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2021 campaign, he completed puffer jackets with 3D models of Paris famous sites.

In 2019, the designer took inspiration from brutalist architecture and urban landscapes. The collection featured furniture made of concrete and other porous materials. The range consisted of mirrors, a bench, stools, and consoles. Efflorescence was created for Galerie Kreo that is located in Paris. Each item was covered with graffiti.
