Huqrugs from the Netherlands presented its first collection of rugs which were showcased in Milan during the Fuorisalone 2021. The structures and combinations from the collection were inspired by Japanese ceramics and Chanel tweeds.
Using the highest quality wool and various color combinations, the unique and very tactile rugs were created with every detail handmade by master craftsmen. The playful handmade collection was designed in Amsterdam by Frans Verschuren and sustainably produced in the European Alps. The line combines the designer's 30 years of experience and features exciting palette variations, motives, and structures.
Frans Verschuren who worked with textiles, theater, fashion, and interior design established the Amsterstampa studio in Amsterdam in 1990. Using a style inspired by the natural world, the designer worked for Moschino, Cavalli, Calvin Klein, and others.
Now, Verschuren is back to show his new evolved designs with a launch of contemporary rugs.
