Omar Hakim presented a residential concept of an oasis house. The minimalistic structure is located in Disah Valley in Saudi Arabia and gives a fantastic view of the desert landscape. The project is designed in two-volume shapes and is mainly made of glass. Such a transparent structure provides its inhabitants with panoramas of the surrounding topology. The house is also completed with a swimming pool which adds visual effect to the interior.
The two volumes are connected with each other through a solid core. The first one has the shape of the floating box made of glass which the architect designed to blur the boundaries between inside and outside parts. And the second volume with the swimming pool adds the natural effects to the living room with the help of sunlight. In such a way, the residents of the house are connected with nature.
