Previously, the hotel of the most prestigious area of London Mayfair Claridge's announced who this year will be the author of the Christmas tree located in the main hall. This time, Kim Jones, creative director of the Dior menswear line, is responsible for the three's look. The tree, made in gold and silver shades, was installed in the hotel lobby on November 24.
Titled Celestial Snow Globe, it features white toile and various holographic, combining the modern and traditional design. On the branches, you can see baubles made in the form of well-known house pieces. On the top, there is the brand's luxury star and the designer's iconic dog.
Christian Louboutin, John Galliano, Alber Elbaz, as well as Domenico Dolce, and Stefano Gabbana have previously worked on Christmas trees for Claridge's. And last year, the three's design was entrusted to one of the hotel's longtime employees, Callie Ellis, who is the founder of the McQueens Flowers florist company.
