IKEA has recently announced its first virtual food and music festival which will bring customers around the world through virtual rooms. By seeing the houses of world-known artists, designers, DJs, and chefs, you will discover how you can spend time your free time at home with your family. And what's important, you will know how to live a more sustainable and affordable life.
The event will consist of different segments with various artists and musicians. They all will show you their cities across the world and you can see a series of home celebrated designs through the decades of the Swedish brand. The event will feature IKEA's various collaborators and among the personalities will be the fashion designer Virgil Abloh.
The debut festival is scheduled for September 16 and will be available on the company's website for 24 hours. The main purpose of this global virtual event is to celebrate life at home offering people the chance to watch musical performances, as well as cooking shows lying comfortably on the sofa.
During this one day which is, by the way, is free to visit, you will travel to more than 100 homes that are located in 50 countries. The new experience gives an opportunity to connect by bringing and engaging people together. In addition, IKEA stores located in the UK will also host the events starting from 16 to 19 September.
